High Grassings, lakeland country house is nestled between Ambleside and the quaint village of Hawkshead, only minutes (by foot, bike or car) away from the Drunken Duck Inn and beautiful Tarn Hows.
High Grassings stands in an elevated position set in fifteen acres of wooded fell side with breathtaking mountain views. Our extensive grounds are inhabited by a variety of wild life including red deer, roe deer, red squirrel and a multitude of songbirds.
We have ponds and streams, which makes this one of the most tranquil settings in the heart of the lakes. There are plenty of walks and cycle-routes on our doorstep.
