Our extensive grounds are inhabited by a variety of wild life including red deer, roe deer, red squirrel and a multitude of songbirds. We also have a pond and streams, which makes this one of the most tranquil settings in the Lake District but also within close proximity to Ambleside, Windermere, Bowness and Kendal for those who want to shop, take in the touristic attractions and perhaps enjoy the nightlife.
We are within walking distance to Hawkshead Village where there are plenty of shops and eateries. Also in easy walking distance of The Drunken Duck Inn.
